PILOT GROVE CITY COUNCIL TO HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING ON SETTING THE 2025 PROPERTY TAX LEVY
The Pilot Grove City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, August 11, 2025 at 5:30 pm at City Hall, 213 College Street, to give tax payers an opportunity to give their input on the proposed property tax rate levy for 2025 as proposed by the Missouri State Auditor.
The 2025 assessed valuation for both real estate and personal property of the City totals $6,816,466, an increase of $286,318 from the 2024 assessed valuation of $6,530,148. The Missouri State Auditor has proposed the tax levy be set at .7663 cents per $100 valuation, a decrease of .0096 from last year. The Council will consider the proposed 2025 tax levy during the regular scheduled council meeting on Monday, August 11, 2025, at 6:30 pm at City Hall.
